Savannah Guthrie sparked major buzz after hinting at a possible Hoda Kotb comeback on the Today show.

Savanah personally added some fuel to the speculation fire with her comments, and now the viewers are buzzing whether Hoda Kotb would be making a surprise return to the Today show. Well, to put it straight, Savannah neither confirmed nor denied the possibility.

At the beginning of the year when Hoda Kotb announced that she would be stepping away from her hosting chores, she broke a lot of hearts, and for the record, it was not only her trademark warmth, laughter, as well as soothing personality that was missing but also her ability to make her cooking segments comfortable and cozy.

Inspiration, motivation, and dream are three words that fully encapsulate Hoda’s saying, along with the need to focus on the family as well as exploring new adventures while moving on.

Leaving a mark while being fair and inspiring. Transitions are hard, and the grief only makes it harder, alongside having to mourn.

“We need more of you in the world,” Guthrie dealt the latter clip a reverberating sendoff, which praised Kotb’s boldness.

“Here’s the thing: You have guts. For someone to leave at the top of their game, to leave something that’s wonderful that you love…And say ‘But I dream even bigger for myself.”

“Tons” is perhaps the safest estimate of the level of respect Kotb and Guthrie command for each other while enjoying each other’s company. Even if she did not confirm anything, the way she spoke and the glimmer in her eye, especially when she said “dream even bigger,” already has fans believing she is alluding to a possible return — or at the very minimum, that Hoda is not finished.

The besties have remained close following the vacation in Florida and sharing snorkeling selfies. They also met up again for a Sunday Sitdown taping in NYC and have shared adoring comments about each other as if they were siblings proudly celebrating their differences.

In any case, Hoda does not seem to be missing from the picture. She is not gone for good; rather, she is working on special projects, which means that, in a sense, she is still around, and according to Savannah, could be around more.
